Description:
The first thing I'd like to point out is that my formal education is in Computer Science and Information Systems, not Meteorology. Since I was a kid, I've always had a passion for severe weather systems which makes me a non-professional severe weather enthusiast. In February of 2010 I started SevereNJwx as a facebook page to provide updates to my friends and family about snow storms, hurricanes, nor'easters, and thunderstorms. Since then it has acquired a large public following including radio stations, newspapers, school districts, and several offices of emergency management in New Jersey.I use modern technology when analyzing severe weather systems in the mid-to-long range. I try my best to break down the technical aspects of my analysis so that the majority of my fans understand the content I provide. I especially understand how important that is coming from a non-meteorological background myself. Please enjoy the content, spread the word, and as always be safe.
