▶ STREAM BYTER (II)

What sets MidiFire apart is the newly extended Stream Byter module first pioneered in MidiBridge. With this you can write your own processing modules using textual rules.

Newly added constructs to the Stream Byter include: IF/THEN, local/global variables, mathematical functions, timing variables, 'onload' rules, setting of block labels and sending arbitrary MIDI data. The Stream Byter is backwards compatible with rulesets you already have from MidiBridge; just copy/paste them in.

Description:

Application to mirror the screen of your iPhone or iPad to any Samsung Smart TV. No wires and no additional hardware needed! You can mirror any app on your iPhone or iPad to your Samsung TV.

To mirror video as well as audio, please make sure that you start mirroring when you are in the app (Photos, YouTube, Facebook etc.) that you want to mirror to your TV.

This works on any Samsung Smart TV from the 2012 models onward. Which model year do you have? You can see that by looking at the middle letter in your model type (on the back of your Samsung TV).

E = 2012
F = 2013
H = 2014
J = 2015
K = 2016
M = 2017

For instance:

UE55_E_S8000 = 2012.
UE78_H_U8500L = 2014.

In using the app, there will be a couple of seconds of latency (usually between 1 and 3). So this mirroring is not suitable for gaming.

However, it is very suitable for watching movies, giving presentations, watching photos, and much more!

How the app works:

1. Make sure that your iPhone or iPad is connected to the same local network as your Samsung TV. Don't use multiple VLANs or subnets.

2. Setup Control Centre on your iPhone or iPad to include the "Screen Recording" option. This is how that works:
a. Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad, then select Control Centre
b. iPhone only: Switch on: Access Within Apps
c. iPhone and iPad: click on Customise Controls
d. "Screen Recording" should be in the list of "Include" options. If it is not, scroll down and find "Screen Recording". Click on the green + sign on the left of Screen Recording, to include it into your Control Centre

3. Launch the Mirror for Samsung TV app. It will start looking for your Samsung TV(s) on your local network. When a TV is found, please select it. When you use this app for the first time, depending on your model Samsung TV, the TV might ask you to "allow" the connection. In that case, take your TV Remote Control and press OK to allow the connection from your TV to your iPhone or iPad.

4. We will start with showing you an instruction video on how to setup Control Centre. If you have done that already, click on Next Step

5. Turn on notifications for this app. We will not spam you, but we will use this to let you know if your TV is working correctly or not. So please, please allow it, otherwise when things don't work as they should, you are left in the dark.

6. Now we will open YouTube on your iPhone or iPad to show you how to use Control Centre to start screen mirroring to your Samsung TV. Press "Open in YouTube" to start.

7. After watching the video, try it yourself! Go to the app on your iPhone or iPad that you want to mirror and slide up Control Centre. FORCE Press / 3D Touch the Screen Recording button (NOT: Screen Mirroring!). Select Mirror Samsung TV to start mirroring.

Limitations and known issues:
1. Audio
- When screen mirroring from Safari, there is no audio.
- When you switch to another app, the audio stops on TV. So, you need to start mirroring after you launched the app that you want mirror on TV.

2. DRM
Some apps don't allow screen mirroring. For instance Netflix: when you start screen mirroring when running the Netflix app on your iPhone or iPad, the TV screen will turn black. This is a choice that Netflix made, there is nothing that we can do about that.

- bug fixed when saving Part Sound presets with imported user samples.

In previous version (1.5.0):
- midi clock (input) synchronization support added, it is disabled by default. To enable it, go to Settings menu, enable Midi Clock In and disable IAA Host Sync and Ableton Link. Also, there is now a midi clock latency adjust parameter in the Settings menu.
- new global setting added: Midi CC Mode. Can be set to either "Catch" (by default) or "Jump". It determines, how GR-16's knobs will react on incoming midi controller changes.
- midi learn feature added. To enter it, quickly tap any desired parameter knob 3 times. Then move your midi controller. When done, tap WRITE button to confirm and save changes. Midi Learn currently works for changing the midi mappings for the knob parameters only.
- midi channel receive filter global setting added. Works only for the "Omni" midi mode.
- part sound presets added. Now you can store your own part sound presets, as well as browse through provided Bank A factory presets. Open presets window by tapping the "Preset >" button on the Wave selection screen.
- sample reverse feature added. Can be set for the entire Part (a new button in the sample view screen), or also for specific notes in a Part (by adjusting note's Stroke parameter). For note stroke setting, there are two reverse modes available: one is a full sample reverse, second if a "half reverse", allowing you to play a sample from its middle point (can be useful in one-shot samples like drum shots); both settings are available by turning the Stroke parameter to the negative direction.
- new value for the pattern "Chain To" parameter added: "Next Pattern", allowing you to chain current pattern directly to the next one in the list. This can significantly simplify the process of creating pattern chains.
- new animation added on the default screen: "Channels", which show all 16 parts current sound peak volumes and their RMS. You can change this animation to Oscillogram, or switch it off from the Settings menu -> "Animation" setting.
- you now have an option for all level meters to show the sound volume as Peak (default), and RMS / RMS+Peak (new), adjustable from Settings menu -> "Level meters" setting.
- bug fixed: when "Poly" setting was set to Off for the Part, the Part could still produce polyphonic sounds in some cases;
- bug fixed: now, if you load a user sample onto a Part, it remembers the sample's folder where it was loaded from;
- improved: sudden sound artifacts (clicks/pops) have been reduced when switching between patterns in non-playback mode;
- 4 new skin schemes added; also, the very first "Default" skin has been changed;
- final factory preset track called "Melbourne Shuffle" added to Bank A, consisting of 6 patterns with examples of using trigger conditions and note sample reverse. These are the last patterns to be added in Bank A.
- some of the old factory pattern presets were slightly modified, including "Terminator 1,2", "Drum'n'box 2,3", "O'skool 3" and a few others.

このアプリでは単語が品詞別にカテゴリー分けされており、過去の英検での正解になった回数、出題頻度の高い順にリストアップされています（正解数と頻度が同じ単語の順番はランダムです）。
日本語訳は正解になった意味を採用。そのほかは複数の辞書が第一の意味としているものを採用しました。

アプリ内の練習とテストを繰り返し、ユーザーが自由に振り分けられる単語帳で苦手単語を復習できます。

＜練習＞
練習したいカテゴリー（例：形容詞A）を選択すると、設定画面が現れます。
自由に設定し、「練習スタート」を押してください。

＜単語テスト15問＞
左下「テスト15問」では、該当カテゴリー内の単語がランダムに15問出題されます。
出題間隔や出題順は英単語を記憶しやすいように最適化されていきます。
15問すべて答え終わると、タイムとスコアの結果が出ます。
素早く正解できると高いポイントを獲得でき、グラフで履歴が残ります。
テストで出題された15問は一覧となって表示されますので、復習に便利です。

「日本語訳」のセル右上をタップするとチェックされ、チェックした単語を「単語帳」に登録できます。

The trails list includes easy and moderate hiking trails and long mountain traverses, of a total length of 60 km.

The cartographic company AnaDigit, creator of the application, has issued previously detailed hiking maps at a scale of 1:25,000 for Crete, as well as hundreds other hiking maps for Greece (eg. maps of Mt. Olympus, Zagori, Sifnos, Naxos and other Aegean islands). To build the application and ensuring data accuracy, all paths of Gramvousa area have been revised during early 2018.

Chania topoguide is a digital field guide for hikers and nature lovers visiting Crete. It includes routes, descriptions and photos for 13 hiking trails in the old city of Chania and along the Akrotiri peninsula and the Theriso gorge.

The application offers detailed offline maps and an extensive introduction on geography, geology, the nature and the rich ancient history of Chania, Akrotiri, the Agia lake and Theriso areas, emphasizing on the comprehensive presentation of the unique landscape, the fauna and the flora of the area.

The app offers also a useful list of POIs with a comprehensive search engine.

The trails list includes easy walks and moderate hiking trails, of a total length of 60 km.

In the field, the app identifies the nearest adventure, guides you to it and then along it by displaying messages and warnings on every junction or other important location. On each Point of Interest, photos and texts are displayed on the map. If the hiker gets off-trail, the app indicates the shorter way to get back safely.
